Cornerstone's History

1998 – Jesse and Loretta Kemp moved to the Greater Boston area from Pittsburgh, PA, bringing with them the vision of Cornerstone Ministries, Inc. (Cornerstone).

 

2006 – Cornerstone was recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

2003 to Present Cornerstone works independently and collaborates with various organizations. These include community-, school- or church-based groups. Activities are holistic; they engage spirit, soul, and body. Academic enrichment is a particular focus. The approach is interactive and innovative. Content includes academics and personal and social development. It also fosters civic awareness and a sense of community.

 

2015 to Present – Cornerstone expanded its support of high school and college students to middle school students in its Saturday Enrichment Program (SEP).
